NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM - 23 JULY 2010, SYDNEY
ADVICE FOR MINISTERS AND ACARA ON NAPLAN, THE USE OF STUDENT DATA, MY SCHOOL AND LEAGUE TABLES

 

On 23 July 2010 the Australian Education Union (AEU), the Australian Government Primary Principals Association (AGPPA) and the Australian Secondary Principals Association (ASPA) hosted a National Symposium, Advice for Ministers and ACARA on NAPLAN, the use of Student Data, My School and League Tables in Sydney.

The event brought together approximately 200 parents, teachers, principals, academics and researchers from across the country.

Presenting at the symposium were leading Australian academics and researches.  The presentations of Professor Alan Reid, Professor Brian Caldwell, Associate Professor Margaret Wu, Barbara Preston, Associate Professor James Ladwig and Professor Allan Luke are available for download.
