    Agenda

    2009 Conference Purpose, Values and History

    Workshops and Papers

    The papers gave some background to debates or contemporary developments in workshop areas to help participants to come to the workshops fully informed.

    Green Note - This year delegates were given the opportunity to elect to only view their background papers online or on CD (in an attempt to save paper). We hope this will make for a more environmentally friendly Conference and that delegates to future Conferences decline hard copy papers altogether.

    1. Women's Wages;

    2. Flexible? Work;

    3. Education and Training; and

    4. Women's Climate Change Action.

    General Background Papers

    "Golden Women Award"
    Delegates to previous Federal Women's Conferences would be familiar with the Golden Woman, awarded each year. This year, delegates participated in a fundraising raffle (and raised over $3,000) to support APHEDA (women's projects). A small gift was awarded to the winner, Annette Bonnici of NSW. However, by supporting APHEDA's work for our international sisters, all delegates deserve to win the Golden Woman Award!
