The search engine will search for all documents on the AEU web site.

Search options include:

• Phrase search ("")
  Using double quotes around a set of words causes the search engine to consider the exact words in that exact order without any change. E.g. "use of NAPLAN results" will find only those documents that contain that exact term.
  
  
• Exclude terms(-)
  Attaching a minus sign immediately before a word indicates that you do not want pages that contain this word to appear in your results. E.g. public -private will find documents that contain the word public, but not the word private. Note the space before the minus sign. Public-private will find documents that contain both words whether hyphenated or just in the same document.

• Search exactly as is (+)
  Synonyms are used automatically, so that a search childcare will also find child care (with a space). If you only want results that match your exact search attach a + immediately before a word. E.g. +childcare. Putting double quotes around a single word will do the same thing.

• OR
  All words in a search are considered. If you want to specifically allow either one of several words, you can use the OR operator (note that you have to type 'OR' in CAPITALS). E.g. "league tables" OR "My School" will find documents that contain either terms, whereas "League tables" "My School" (without the OR) will only show pages that contain both terms. The symbol | can be substituted for OR.
