Three weeks ago I went to Canberra to lobby politicians about how Gonski funding was making a difference for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Let me tell you, I came back inspired. Not by the politicians – although some of them were OK – but by the Indigenous parents, students and educators who came with me.
